Photo a day.....16th April

We took the dogs for a walk yesterday in Combley Great Wood near Havenstreet, IOW. It was a lovely afternoon, and there were only two other cars in the parking spot on the road so we knew it would be peaceful.

The violets were wonderful. I wanted to sniff them but that would have meant either picking one or lying on the floor! Neither was a viable option so they went unsmelt!!!
The primroses, wood anemones and celandines were very prolific. There were a few bluebells, and you could see by the leaves everywhere that we were a bit early for most of them.
We love to go to the woods because we can let the dogs roam off-lead .... which they also love!
